2011 Federal Budget

$17 million over 5 years has been directed towards fighting plum pox virus by the federal government.
This is actually less money than what has been budgeted in the past for PPV eradication. It is unclear whether the program is eradication, management, or monitoring. Hopefully, more information will be coming out shortly.
